As the picture suggests, they took a lot of fluid out of my abdomen on Wednesday. 7.4 liters to be exact. That much fluid removed translated to my losing around 24 pounds from my body weight (I weighed 169 on Tuesday; I weighed 145 today). I’ve never lost that much weight in a month, much less an hour. The good news is that I immediately felt better all the way around: my mobility improved, my abdomen quit swelling, and eventually I was able to breathe a LOT better—deeper breaths that moved more air into my system.
I have said for many, many years God equipped us with the ability to cry for tears are the pressure valve to release our stress. We are praying for that healing that you are testifying to. Keep up the good fight. Harriet & Clark Harrison
JB, I am so glad you are embracing the unique strength only found in friendships meant to carry burdens during this time. You are loved more than you know, not for the gifts that you use, but for the gift that you are. I believe something special happens to us and in us all when we allow those appointed ‘burden- bearers’ to fulfill the law of Christ. We are all growing too during this season because of you. Learning from you and being inspired by you is nothing new, but growth at these new levels are - because you are taking us there. Thank you for letting us love you, and thank you for allowing us to walk this road with you so we can continue to grow together. JS
