Prescott worked for Coca-Cola USA for 15 years. We had a fountain drink machine in the basement. As you can guess, we always had neighborhood children (and adults) coming over frequently. Sometimes the children came over when our boys were not home. They asked if Mr. Prescott could come out and play. He was like the Pied Piper.

Every time I read your posts this Bible verse from Philippians comes to mind: “ Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Contemplative prayer is so powerful and I can see the fruits of it in your soul and reflected always in your writing! Thank you for always taking the time to share your thoughts, beautiful family and life with us. Keeping your intentions in our prayers always!

Well this is the second time I have been mentioned in your blogs. Such kind words for not such a nice person. I believe the drinks were 25 not 35 but my memory leaves me sometimes. Oh still have the coke machine but it doesn't work anymore. Just takes up space in the basement.
